Why Do Plumbers Need Continuing Education Hours?
Under Illinois state law, you must complete post-secondary education, pass a licensing exam and complete an apprenticeship before you can work independently as a plumber. However, the requirements don’t stop there. You must also complete four hours of continuing education for plumbers every year in order to renew your license. These hours must be completed by May 1 of each year. At Illinois Plumbing Consultants in Crystal Lake, IL, we make it easy for you to complete your continuing education requirements so you can continue to make your living as a licensed plumber.
What to Expect from Our Continuing Education Classes
Illinois Plumbing Consultants knows that your time is valuable. That is why we have made it possible for you to complete all four hours of your continuing education requirements in one Saturday class. Each course is taught by an experienced licensed plumber who is passionate about his or her work and enjoys teaching the tricks of the trade. Every class that we teach provides you with the following:
- Demonstration of advanced plumbing techniques
- Exploration of technology and other changes in the plumbing industry
- Provides comprehensive information about plumbing codes
